Al-Medina Mercy NY Inc. is a non-profit humanitarian organization registered with the IRS under 501(c)(3). All generous contributions are fully tax exempt.
Currently, we are delivering humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan where poor people are suffering tremendously from lack of food, medicine, and basic necessities. Since 1978, Afghanistan has been torn by wars. Our goal is to provide the basic assistance to Widows and Orphans throughout Afghanistan so children can attend school instead of shining shoes, washing cars, or begging on the streets.
We have sponsored 100 families of Widows and Orphans, providing 5,000 AFN (equivalent to $65 USD) monthly, enough to purchase rice, flour, beans, cooking oil, tea, soap, shampoo, and other basic necessities.
